Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Cybersecurity Specialist at JetStream Soft, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our mobile applications across various platforms. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough security audits and assessments of mobile applications.
- Implementing robust security policies and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures in software design.
- Identifying vulnerabilities and providing actionable recommendations for remediation.
- Staying abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and technologies affecting mobile environments.
- Educating team members on cybersecurity awareness and promoting a security-first culture.
- Documenting security findings and crafting detailed reports for stakeholders.
What We Expect from You
To succeed in this role, you will need a mixture of technical acumen, analytical expertise, and a problem-solving mindset. Key qualifications include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in mobile application development, preferably with frameworks such as React Native, Flutter, or Xamarin.
- In-depth understanding of security protocols, encryption technologies, and secure coding practices.
- Experience conducting risk assessments and vulnerability scanning on mobile platforms.
- Strong familiarity with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, CISM, or similar) are a plus.
