About the Role
As an Elastic Stack Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of our Elastic Stack solutions. Your expertise will drive our efforts to refine and enhance our multi-tier applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. You will be responsible for leading code reviews, promoting best practices, and spearheading refactoring initiatives to streamline our processes and improve code quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, reduce technical debt, and enhance overall code quality.
- Refactoring Initiatives: Identify areas for improvement within the existing codebase and lead initiatives to refactor and optimize applications.
- Multi-Tier Application Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop scalable, high-performance multi-tier applications utilizing the Elastic Stack.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues and bugs, ensuring minimal disruption to the development process and maintaining system reliability.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, implementing innovative solutions to enhance application performance and user experience.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience working with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and multi-tier architecture.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, with experience in RESTful APIs.
- Version Control: Strong knowledge of version control systems, specifically Git, and experience with CI/CD processes.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong analytical mindset to troubleshoot and optimize complex systems.
Desirable Skills
While not mandatory, the following skills will be considered an advantage:
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
