Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize high-performance computing systems to support complex data analytics tasks.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to identify and solve computational challenges.
- Oversee the integration of big data tools and frameworks into HPC environments for enhanced data analysis capabilities.
- Develop and maintain documentation for HPC architecture, processes, and workflows.
- Continuously monitor and improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members in best practices related to HPC and data analytics.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings to align on project objectives and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in high-performance computing and big data analytics.
- Strong proficiency in parallel computing programming languages such as C, C++, or CUDA.
- Experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and distributed databases.
- Solid understanding of performance tuning and optimization techniques in HPC environments.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and hybrid solutions for HPC.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and their applications in data analytics.
- Ability to write and maintain scripts in Python or Bash for automation purposes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
